Michael Hayden (1998, Aspen, Colorado) is a photographer and filmmaker whose practice centers on the poetics of place, examining how environments marked by transition, repair, and erosion become sites of memory and imagination. Working between documentary attentiveness and atmospheric image-making, he approaches built and natural spaces as layered archives where traces of human presence and absence quietly coexist.
